We hear the term “Strategic Business Partner” thrown around all the time. In this session, we will delve into what that really means, and more importantly how an HR professional in any function of the field can truly partner with their organization in a strategic way that makes you indispensable to your organization and adds another level of credibility that will boost your function's value and boost your own career into places you haven't dreamed possible. You will be shown practical examples of how to organize your team for maximum impact on the business, how to design the “HRBP” role, steps for engaging in the business and communicating the changes. Millman will show you how to assess your existing talent in light of the new competencies and how to develop those skills among existing team members or how to make hard decisions on staff changes for maximum effectiveness.
