Technology leaders from Denver Public Schools discuss how large, complex organizations can successfully employ HRIS technology to restructure and automate processes that will ultimately increase efficiency and establish a philosophy of self-service with employees. By utilizing the latest technology systems, including mobility applications and interactive user portals, both public and private entities can effectively transform their HR culture and develop a better understanding of how HR impacts the bottom line. Assess your organization’s technology readiness to determine when HRIS should be utilized, how it should be deployed and how to effectively manage the change, and evaluate internal processes and consider different data access methods to take first steps toward becoming a paperless organization.
