It is what your supervisors don’t know that they should know that creates irreversible liability for themselves, you and the organization. This session reveals the top 50+ best practices that every manager, supervisor and executive must have from hiring through firing involving federal and state laws in order to avoid personal and organizational liability in 2014. Chapman will review the current trends for liability under the federal, state and local employment laws including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Americans with Disabilities Act, The Family and Medical Leave Act, Age Discrimination in Employment Act, USERRA and other critical EEO laws and regulations that require compliance in 2014. We will identify red flags for non-compliance behavior and how to escalate up the matter for centralized compliance so you can keep your organization in compliance.
