1.25 HR Credit | Competencies: Communication, Consultation, HR Expertise | Intended Audience: Mid-Level
Workplace Application:
Learn strategies and tactics that have successfully influenced recruiting teams to not be just customer-focused, but consumer-focused, leading to organizational health and revenue generation.

A recruiter’s influence spans far beyond internal stakeholders. The impact of a new hire ripples far beyond the confines of the organization for which they make placements. As a recruiter, who is your customer? Is it your team leader, your HR business partner, the hiring manager, or operations leaders? What do we really mean when we talk about the importance of the “customer?” Using a different approach to recruiting for the customer, in this session, Brown will explore how hiring the best people (who produce the best results for the consumer) can have an impact on customer experience and revenue generation. Using practical examples that span several lines of recruiting focus, including Sales, Information Technology, Front-Line Operations, Customer Experience, and more, this session encourages recruiters to expand a customer-focused mindset in recruiting to include more than internal stakeholders.
