1.25 Global Credit | Competencies: HR Expertise, Global & Cultural Effectiveness | Intended Audience: Mid-Level
Workplace Application:
This session provides a strategic overview of global recruiting and the challenges/obstacles as well suggestions for successful cross-border recruiting.

Local recruiting and staffing processes are not consistent around the world, and there are significant differences between regions as to how recruiting is executed. Eskenazi will provide a global review of recruiting and staffing practices and how they interact with key legal and regulatory policies around the world. This interactive session will offer success strategies on how true global recruiting is delivered. Join the conversation about the challenges and obstacles of cross-border recruiting, the unique (sometimes funny) idiosyncrasies of cultural and legal differences within regions, and how even though business is global, most recruiting is inevitably local. You will understand key employer branding differences around the world and how to integrate a employer brand strategy with local/regional strategies.
