This session gives you an insight look at Gaylord Opryland’s recruiting strategy to hiring their hourly workforce.

Gaylord Opryland has a full cycle recruiting process for a 3,000 room property plus attractions. This session will cover how their hiring events are executed, their recruiting strategies for hiring hourly employees, their partnerships within the community as well as their employee referral process (STAR). Mason will review their process for hiring our world famous A Country Christmas, where we seasonally hire over 300 STARS every year during holiday time. She will also share how they recovered from the 2010 flood, specifically how they put on grand hiring events, rehiring over 2,000 STARS that were laid off as a result and the culture created for the re-opening of the hotel.
