This session will give you the tools you need to take your interviewing process beyond the basics of behavioral interviewing and improve the outcomes.

Using behavioral interviewing techniques greatly improves the outcomes of your selection process. But how do you know if you're asking the right questions? How do you know if the candidate has given a 'good' answer? Newell will give you the tools you need to develop questions that assess cultural fit of you best candidates, and how to increase the likelihood that the candidate you select is the candidate you really want. You will leave with an understanding on how to develop behaviorally based interview questions that will assess a candidates fit with your organization's culture. You will be able to explain how individual biases undermine the effectiveness and efficacy of the interview process as well as develop an interview rubric to be used in evaluating candidates answers during the interview.
