You will learn the basics of the IRS's plan correction program so you can correct plan administration errors.
With the complex rules and regulations governing qualified retirement plan administration, everyone gets something wrong at some point. That's why the IRS created the Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (EPCRS), to encourage plan administrators to identify these errors and to give them approved methods for correcting them. This session will describe the general principles of EPCRS, the available correction methods, and outline some common errors that can be corrected through EPCRS.
