The Bully and the Bottom-Line

Workplace Application:  Develop strategies for dealing effectively with workplace bullies.

The school bully has grown up and is wreaking havoc in the workplace, in the person of the supervisor who specializes in yelling, name-calling, putdowns, and other humiliating conduct, or the vindictive manager who excludes an employee from important meetings or sabotages their work. Management often looks the other way if the bully is a good performer, but bullying affects the bottom-line and creates potential legal claims.

  • Understand what bullying is and isn't.
  • Learn the potential legal issues that can arise with bullying behavior.
  • Gain practical tips and tools on how to effectively stop bullying in the workplace.
