This session helps youbridge the gap between technical understanding of the FMLA and its practical application in the workplace through use of a series of real-world scenarios.
Track: Employment Law & Legislation
The different ways in which employees seek to use the Family and Medical Leave Act are bounded only by the imagination and employees are very imaginative. In this interactive, high-level session (that assumes a working knowledge of the Act), you have the opportunity to apply your understanding of the FMLA to a series of unique, real-world scenarios, and learn how your decisions compare to those taken by other real-life HR departments.
