Learn how to align an effective HR strategy that not only supports your organizational strategy but also enables current and future growth objectives for your organization. 

How is HR viewed in your organization?  Are you seen as a business partner or as a transactional entity?  This session will highlight how one HR professional experienced both, and the role that HR is playing in the company's transformation.  After a 15-year career as a Vice President of Human Resources for PepsiCo, Rodriguez joined the mid-sized organization Ventura Foods in 2011, and is currently Vice President of Organizational and Leadership Development.  Rodriguez will discuss the challenges of making the transition from a $60 billion corporation with an HR function that was an established business partner to a $2.5 billion joint venture where HR was viewed as traditional and transactional.  He will discuss the role HR plays at Ventura Foods in shaping functional and corporate strategies, a new company vision, and an aligned HR strategy that supports the company’s ‘Next Level’ journey.
