Workplace Application:
Learn best practices, common pitfalls as well as a model for planning and leading change communications and employee engagement.

Leading organizational change is challenging but vital to successful outcomes in business initiatives.  Communication is directly tied to the successful implementation of major business outcomes because it addresses employee concerns and builds buy-in and commitment to new ways of working.  But to be successful, you need to understand how to take a strategic, systematic and proactive approach to using communication to lead change.  This highly interactive session will present an overview of the underlying principles of change, and share best practices, common pitfalls and a straight-forward model for planning and guiding change communications.  You will practice planning for each step in the model through a real-world case study, and will benefit from the past experiences of other leaders in the room.
