Learn how to implement a successful and cost effective wellness program in your organization.

Repeated on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m.

Research has shown that companies providing wellness programs receive an average ROI of $3.48 to $1 due to reduced health care costs and $5.82 to $1 due to reduced absenteeism and increased productivity. As a result, many organizations have implemented wellness programs or are planning to do so. The components of these programs, as well as how much of a ROI they generate, can differ greatly. This session will describe a best practice approach you can use to either start a new one or enhance an existing one. You will learn the five phases of the health care continuum and three ways to increase participation in your wellness programs. Powell will share seven wellness program topics to offer as well as three strategies to market a wellness program to maximize participation. Finally, you will learn five ways to evaluate the effectiveness of a worksite wellness program.
