1.25 HR Credit | Competencies: HR Expertise, Critical Evaluation | Intended Audience: Executive-level
Workplace Application:
This session provides you with a greater understanding of new Alternative Labor groups and offers insights on how to lower your potential vulnerability and increase positive employee relations.

More and more Alternative Labor groups are positioning themselves as employee representatives and employees are seeing these groups as a better way to get changes in the workplace. Industries such as manufacturing, retail, fast food, and universities are seeing more of these grassroots organizations representing their staffs, and attempting to become the bargaining representative. This session will provide you with an overview of these Alternative Labor groups and how to best prepare to discourage their effort to become the bargaining representative of their employees.
