If you have ever wondered, “What was the employee's lawyer thinking?!” this is your chance to find out. Warner will share factors that increase the likelihood of getting sued (including some you might not expect) and real examples of unbelievable and unintentional missteps and how they could have been avoided. Get the employee's attorney's view of employer actions (such as telling current employees not to talk to the employee with the claim) and how those actions affect the settlement or trial value of the case. Learn tips to disinterest plaintiff's lawyers before they take the case and while it is pending. This session will be a fun opportunity to get in the head of a plaintiff's lawyer without being sued or charged by the hour.
