Sessions
Integrating the perspectives of HR and working professionals, this session takes a comprehensive look at the experience of workers who have caregiving responsibilities outside of their work (e.g., childcare, elder care, care for adults with health impediments or disabilities). We explore the challenges these workers face, the impact it can have on both the worker and the organization, and employers’ ability and readiness to address the needs of these workers.
Learning Objective 1: Attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the personal and professional impact of caregiving, equipping them with knowledge to address the unique challenges faced by working caregivers within their organizations.
Learning Objective 2: Attendees will gain insights into how employer caregiving approaches impact outcomes, enabling them to assess and implement policies that both improve employee well-being and organizational performance.
Learning Objective 3: Attendees will learn about existing and potential caregiving solutions employers implement. By learning about these solutions, participants will be empowered to tailor their strategies to effectively meet the needs of their unique workforce.
