This session will help you understand the real-world problem-solving and bottom-line benefits of analyzing business processes.

Every business in the world, from those that sell hot dogs to those that build supercolliders, is built on process. In these days of economic uncertainty, streamlining processes to produce more sustainable business models is a necessity. Improving processes requires complex and thoughtful planning, which is often the step businesses miss and one HR should undertake. This session will help you understand how you can drive Lean Six Sigma and other business sustainability efforts to make your company more productive and cost-effective while reducing errors. Sutton will take you through examples of three different companies -- a major university, a small construction company and Lufthansa Technik -- and how their approaches to streamlining their businesses ended with different results. You will get an understanding of how business processes can make your organization sustainable by saving time, money and reducing errors.
