The workforce is constantly changing and evolving. Yet despite these changes and others, organizations still try to make the old staffing work. The FT 50+/hr-tied-to-your-cubicle-don't-take-vacation-and-don't-you-dare-take-a-sick-day-model doesn't work with today's changed workforce demographic. At the same time that companies struggle to find the right talent, there is a gigantic capable, educated workforce that's "idle" because they may not be willing to take part in standard corporate America. It's time for organizations (lead by HR) to re-envision what their workforce looks like. We'll provide research and case studies that support a new way to think about work and workers. This will help you understand how to tap into the capable, educated workforce that is looking for an organization that 'gets it' and isn't afraid to break the mold. You will learn how to communicate to your senior leadership the shift in worker demographics over the next 20 years and will leave with a new perspective on how to reduce time to fill, gain deeper levels of employee engagement and reduce turnover all while reducing compensation costs.
