Dave is the Founder and CEO of Oak and Reeds, a training consultancy that uses interactive content to train clients on critical communication skills they can use at work and in life. With his clients, Dave works as a trainer, facilitator, keynote speaker and executive coach. 

Since founding the business eight years ago, Dave has worked with global clients like Nike, Airbus, Salesforce, TikTok, and Google to train leaders how to work, manage and communicate more collaboratively. 

Dave has a dual degree in communication and economics from Northwestern University and currently lives outside of Oakland, CA with his wife and son. 

The founder is a certified Domestic Relations Mediator for the state of Indiana. He also holds an AAS in Human Services, a bachelor's degree in Psychology, and a master's degree in Education with a certificate in Literacy Instruction. For over a decade, Ron has worked as a program coordinator for a rites of passage program serving males ages 9-17 in inner-city schools and also has over a decade of experience coaching girls' youth and travel basketball. After several school administrators suggested that "everyone" needed the information he taught, Ron spent months brainstorming, compounding best practices from his practical experience, and utilizing his education. He, thus developed Conflict Circumvention LLC.

Matthew Kalb, CEM-AP, CMP, is an international CEM Instructor who facilitates interactive learning experiences through an evidence-based lens. A self-proclaimed bibliophile, he is committed to empowering leaders in the meeting and event profession to undergo mindset shifts, embrace deeper thinking, and champion authenticity and vulnerability. Outside of his professional pursuits, Matt is an enthusiastic scuba diver, globe-trotter, and a passionate advocate for all things related to the ocean.
