Terry Hogan is the Director of Global Talent Management at Citibank in New York. Prior to joining Citi, Terry was the Global Leadership Development Practice Leader at Aperian Global. Terry also enjoyed a 19 year career at Cendant where she was a Global General Manager responsible for product development and global markets expansion as well as client relations. She holds a BS degree is from Oregon State University and an MA, in Intercultural Relations and Global Leadership, is from the University of the Pacific. Terry has authored many articles on the topic of leadership development and talent management and has just co-authored a book entitled “What is Global Leadership: Ten Key Behaviors that Define Great Global Leaders”.

Chris Hoffman manages the San Diego office for the national labor and employment law firm of Fisher & Phillips LLP. While Chris dedicates a substantial portion of his time to defending employers in class actions and other complex litigation matters, he also spends substantial time assisting clients find practical solutions to their employment issues. A big proponent of preventative efforts, Chris strongly believes that some of his best results assisted clients to avoid litigation. Roberta S. Hayashi has over twenty-five years experience representing and advising employers in employment law and business litigation. She is a faculty member at Lincoln Law School on employment law, past president of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and the Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, and a member of the Santa Clara County Superior Court, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee and Bench/Bar/Media/Police Committee.

Greg Hare has been an employment lawyer at Ogletree Deakins his entire career, since 1991. He assists companies with human resources and employment-related litigation matters, including wrongful termination claims, sexual harassment, employment discrimination, employment contracts, trade secrets, and non-compete agreements. He advises clients on a wide range of human resources topics, such as drug testing, employee discipline and discharge, severance planning, independent contractor classifications, wage payment, family and medical leave, disability law, military leave, joint employment issues, affirmative action, and reductions in force. Mr. Hare also counsels clients on traditional labor relations and matters involving the National Labor Relations Board.

Valerie helps companies improve their bottom line by elevating employees from tactical thinkers to strategic leaders.

She served in senior leadership roles at RollsRoyce Aircraft before helping to found InterActiveCorp, parent company to Expedia, Home Shopping Network and TicketMaster. She then went to work for Oprah Winfrey, helping to found the Oxygen channel which was later sold to NBC Universal.

Valerie obtained her mechanical engineering degree from Kettering University and her MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. Val’s book, Clash of the Generations: Managing the New Workplace Reality, helps leaders manage multiple generations in the office.
