Learn about the types of benefits and policies cutting-edge employers may wish to consider in order to provide equal treatment of LGBT employees, including domestic partner tax gross-ups and health benefits for transgender employees. Solomon will provide an update on the latest developments, including the recent legal challenges to the Federal Defense of Marriage Act. Learn the best practices for benefit plans with respect to coverage of same-sex partners and understand the tax and payroll consequences of any such coverage, as well as recent trend in domestic partner benefits.
