This session will focus on the HR legislative issues expected to be considered, and provide an up-to-date overview of current federal regulatory activity
As Congress begins the dog days of summer and heads toward the 2014 mid-term elections, important HR policy issues will be the focal point of congressional and agency activity. Key HR issues of interest include proposals on tax reform, immigration reform and employment-labor issues. Additionally, the workplace regulatory agenda is expected to take center stage in 2014 as many labor-management, wage and hour, health care and civil rights initiatives are expected to be advanced through the federal agencies.
