This session will show you how you can reduce your company's health care costs, absenteeism, presenteeism and turnover, while increasing productivity & morale.
Research on the effectiveness of work-site wellness programs has shown that both companies and their employees can benefit greatly. A Harvard meta-analysis study of 22 workplaces found that companies who provide wellness programs have an average return on investment of $3.27 to 1 due to reduced health care costs and a return on investment of $2.73 to 1 due to reduced absenteeism. This session will address the many factors to be considered in the design and implementation of a best in class work-site wellness program. It will also examine the challenges an organization may face, the array of options a company can choose from & strategies necessary to ensure that the work-site wellness program is properly funded and ongoing.
