More than ever before, the federal government has increased its activity as it relates to employment-based immigration law enforcement. Many companies are unprepared for the level of scrutiny being placed on their Employment Eligibility Verifi cation documents during an enforcement action. To be prepared, you need to fully understand the issues involved with proper completion and maintenance of I-9 documents. Cont will help prepare you. We’ll discuss what to do when the government requests to review your employment verification documents and the potential liability associated with such investigations.
