Janati will show you how to structure your message in a logical format that listeners can easily follow. You will learn delivery techniques to ensure your message is delivered as intended and how to use emotional appeal to engage your audience and connect with them on a more personal level. This session will show you how to establish your credibility while speaking to ensure you build rapport with your listeners.

Dr. Jody Janati teaches in the Communication Studies Department at the University of Minnesota. She has an Ed.D. degree in Organizational Leadership and her primary interest area pertains to interpersonal conflict resolution strategies. As an author and independent consultant, she offers a variety of public and professional workshops on conflict reduction tactics and effective interpersonal communication skills.
