HR often must turn lemons into lemonade, and with the Supreme Court decision it is now clear that we must work with the PPACA, not work around it. So, how can we use it as a force for good, and not treat it as a government overreach? In this session, we look at the future impact of certain parts of the PPACA on the culture of the organization, and share specific strategies and tactics that can be adapted and implemented. If handled in future-thinking ways, it is possible for the PPACA to have a positive impact on the engagement, productivity and profitability of your organization. You do not have to like the PPACA but this sessoin shows you how to implement it in ways that are beneficial to your organization.

Karl Ahlrichs, SHRM-SCP, CSP has broad experience in HR, operations and senior level problem solving, and is a national speaker and author, and is often quoted in the local and national media. 

Karl joined Gregory & Appel of Indianapolis, after founding ExactHire, a human resources services firm.  Prior experience was as a Senior Consultant for Professional Staff Management, and earlier he was in Business Development at Marsh & McLennan, and Vice President of Right Management Consultants.  Karl has been named the SHRM Human Resource Professional of the Year for the State of Indiana, and is a Certified Speaking Professional.
