Workplace Application:
Experience a simple and powerful model of change that identifies how drama happens, how it derails progress, and how to get back on track.
Drama is an energy vampire that diverts precious resources, abuses talent, and sidelines strategic initiatives. Nowhere is drama more obvious and detrimental than during times of change and transition. Dr. Regier will describe three roles that people and organizations fall into during drama - the Persecutor, Victim, and Rescuer - along with the leading indicators and organizational consequences. You will be introduced to the Cycle of Compassionate Change Model to understand why people get into drama, how to get back on track, and how to use diverse talent and skill-sets to keep positive change moving forward. Leave with practical strategies to manage change initiatives, coach individuals towards positive contribution, and realign teams with organizational priorities.
